Nan’s Hexi Challenge

This spring one of our members, Nan Fieber, a passionate fan of English paper pieced hexagons, was inspired by a travelling quilt exhibit organized by the Canadian Quilter’s Association.

The result: Nan challenged her Barnswallow family to make hexagonal mini quilts.

Here are the rules:

– The quilt should be 12″ x 16″ in size.

Screen Shot 2015-06-10 at 10.41.29 PM– It should contain at least six hexagons.

– The hexagons can be any size or combination of sizes, and any color or pattern.

– The quilts will be unveiled at the annual Barnswallows Christmas dinner (late November – early December 2015).

– This is supposed to be a fun project. There is no pressure.

Contact Nan at 822-3279 or rockpile@sdnet.ca if you have any questions.
